New Cairo is a new Egyptian city that belongs to the third generation of cities. It’s located in the Cairo governorate and administratively falls under the New Urban Communities Authority. and is considered one of the largest new cities in Egypt with an area of about 85,000 acres, after adding an additional 15,000 acresThe city consists of several residential communities, with the largest being the Fifth Settlement in addition to Al Rehab, the First Settlement, the Third Settlement, and others. The city is located in the eastern arc of Cairo, east of the Ring Road, between the Cairo-Suez desert road and the Cairo-Ain Sokhna road. It is expected that the population of the city will reach 4.9 million residents upon completion of its growth. The climate of New Cairo is desert, and due to its altitude, it enjoys a milder climate compared to Cairo, which is around five degrees Celsius cooler on average.
